Seeking for rareness

It is so easy and common to receive body and mind; you find as many beings with them as rice, flax, bamboo, and reed. But it is rare to meet dharma.

–––Receiving the Marrow by Bowing, Ch.28 Shobogenzo.

Though “dharma” usually means truth in Buddhism, an extension is suggested to imply anything that is rare to meet. Can we create a device that is able to improve the meeting probability from “rare” to “occasional”? Architect Tadao Ando once said that architecture is about designing chances. A concrete wall can be a screen to catch the rare moments of changing light. What would the non-concrete wall be made of, to intensify the sensitivity to detect and react to the moments of dharma? When such a hypersensitive wall becomes part of the body and mind, a golden-scaled fish will come up to the fishing boat without being fished for.
